Resumen
Un padre no puede renunciar a la patria potestad sobre sus hijos menores como excusa para eludir el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones, pues dicha decisión responde al propio interés del padre y no al interés y beneficio del menor. Los deberes que son inherentes a la patria potestad son inexcusables al estar establecidos en favor del menor.
Abstract
A father can not relinquish parental authority over his daughter as an excuse to avoid fulfilling his obligations, since it responds to the father’s own interest and not to the interest and benefit of the minor. Duties that are inherent to parental authority and are inexcusable to be established in favor of the child.
