EL REGISTRO DE LA PROPIEDAD Y EL MEDIO AMBIENTE.

Resumen
El presente trabajo tiene, principalmente, dos objetivos: en primer lugar , poner de manifiesto que el Registro de la Propiedad y el medio ambiente están íntimamente relacionados, y, en segundo lugar, que el Registro de la Propiedad es un importante instrumento al servicio de la protección del medio ambiente. Para lograr ambos objetivos se realiza una aproximación al concepto de medio ambiente, se analiza la normativa internacional, europea y estatal sobre el derecho de acceso a la información medio-ambiental y se examinan diversos supuestos de situaciones medioambientales que tienen su reflejo en el Registro de la Propiedad (suelos contaminados, suelos forestales incendiados y derechos de adquisición preferente en los espacios naturales protegidos).
En la parte final del trabajo el autor reflexiona sobre el papel que en el futuro debe desempeñar el Registro de la Propiedad en la protección del medio ambiente.
Abstract
This paper has a twofold objective: first of all, to highlight that the Property Registry and the environment are closely linked and, secondly, that the Property Registry represents an important tool for the protection of environment. To achieve both objectives, an approach to the concept of environment has been prepared, the international, european and state regulations on the right to access environmental information have been analyzed and different assumptions of environmental situations that are reflected in the Property Registry have been examined (polluted soils, burnt forest areas and preferential acquisition rights on natural protected areas).
At the end of the paper, the author thinks about the role to be played in future by the Property Registry within the scope of the protection of environment.
