Resumen
El derecho a la intimidad y a la protección de los datos personales, se configura en las modernas sociedades como uno de los derechos fundamentales de los ciudadanos. El Registro de la Propiedad tiene como función dar publicidad jurídica de las titularidades inmobiliarias. En esta función ha de mantener el equilibrio con la necesaria protección de la intimidad y de los datos personales de los titulares registrales.
Abstract
The right to privacy and the protection of personal data is configured in modern societies as one of the fundamental rights of citizens. The function of the Land Registry is to give legal publicity to real estate ownership. In this function it has to maintain the balance with the necessary protection of the privacy and personal data of the registry holders.
