Abstract

This commentary analyses the liability procedure applied to baggage incidents in international air transport. To reach this objective, we begin with the difference between checked baggage and carry-ons, specifying what kinds of damage are indemnifiable. We then go on to analyse the question of how much can be claimed in damages, and lastly how and where to file claims. In the process, we conduct an analysis of the most recent jurisprudence.
