Abstract

The Supreme Court ruling of 7 October 2010 again deals with the topic of the expiration of an agent's right to collect. Pursuant to unswerving Supreme Court case-law, all the jurisprudential decisions of our high court have considered expiration after three years under article 1967.1 of the Civil Code applicable to the case, primarily because of a historical interpretation of the concept of «agents» that appears in the Civil Code.
