Resumen
En este trabajo se analiza el asiento de cancelación registral. En concreto se examinan las distintas características del mismo, partiendo de la teoría general de los asientos registrales, con la finalidad de poder dar, posteriormente, una definición o concepto de dicho asiento que se ajuste a la realidad. De igual modo, poniendo de relieve sus especiales caracteres será más fácil comprender su verdadera función y finalidad, que no es otra que dejar sin efecto un asiento anterior y concreto al que se refiere, siendo vehículo de la publicidad registral.
Abstract
This paper looks at registration cancellation entries. It begins with the different characteristics of cancellation entries, based on general theory, and moves on from there to a definition or outline of the concept of such entries as they are in reality. The special features of cancellation entries are examined as well, to make it easier to grasp the true function and purpose of entries of this sort, which is to render a particular previous entry null and void. Registration cancellation entries are vehicles for disclosing registration information.
