Summary
En este trabajo se examinan las principales características de la última reforma del Derecho matrimonial realizada en la Bailía de Guernsey, concretamente por lo que atañe al reconocimiento en este territorio del denominado matrimonio de creencia, esto es del matrimonio propio de los grupos ideológicos o filosóficos al que ahora también se reconoce eficacia civil junto al matrimonio religioso. De este modo, el reconocimiento de esta modalidad conyugal es ya prácticamente completo en el ámbito geográfico de las Islas británicas.
Abstract
This paper deals with the study of the legal recognition of humanist marriage or, more widely speaking, of belief marriages in the Bailiwick of Guernsey, that has recently taken place by means of the Marriage (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2020. Humanist and other belief marriages are al last legally recognised in this Bailiwick as they have been already accepted as valid marriages in almost all the other jurisdictions in the British Islands.
